Electrical PAT Testing

Employers, Managers, Committees, Self-Employed and Volunteers all have a duty to keep members of the staff (including volunteers and trainees) and members of the public safe.

Whilst PAT testing isn't a "legal requirement" (although often an Insurance requirment), it does help you to comply with parts of the following Health & Safety legislation;

  • Health & Safety at Work Act 1974
  • Management of Health & Safety at Work Regulations 1999
  • Electricity at Work Regulations 1989
  • Workplace (Health, Safety and Welfare) Regulations 1992
  • Provision and Use of Work Equipment regulations 1998

"...25% of reported electrical accidents involve portable appliances - kettles, fridges, toasters, fax machines and computers..." (Health & Safety Executive)

We use appropriate equipment to carry out tests and provide you with a detailed report - either in hard copy or electronically
